Casperia Garrett is author B.F. Scott's pen name for writing Christian fiction.
Under the pen name I will be releasing stories of hope, inspiration, and romance. Romance is a must, even if it is part of the background. Why use a pen name? Many readers have favorite stories or authors that they enjoy. Many pick up a book and are certain of the type of book they are getting. For this reason, many authors use pen names for their different genres. B.F. Scott will continue to release young adult fantasy romance while Casperia Garrett will release Christian romance. The name has a little bit of history in my family. While visiting my biological mother (who enjoys genealogy) one weekend, I happened across a family line she had not followed. After a few hours of research, I came across the name Casperius Von Garrett. I immediately fell in love with my many great, great grandfather's name. He, along with his father and brothers, crossed over the ocean on a ship from Norway to America. I do not recall if wives or daughters came. They dropped the Von soon after their arrival and he became Casperius Garrett. This is the fulfillment of my determination to somehow use the name. Casperia Garrett-author
